    Usually the things Trump does that are viewed as funny don’t make me laugh because I just can’t handle getting humor from him ruining us all, but every now and then he totally destroys me and saying “Thanks, Steve,” to someone not named Steve is such an absolute classic comedy bit that I laughed really loudly alone in my house.

    I just want him to randomly drop Napoleon Dynamite quotes.

    "Tina, you fat lard! Come get some dinner!"

    I'd like to think Don Rickles is smiling up from Hell pleased that Trump has taken over as the ultimate insult comic.

    So I recently got into watching Nailed It! on Netflix as a guilty pleasure cooking show, and just got to an episode of them making Trump's head as a cake and I don't know how I feel about that. Like, a couple people are visibly not thrilled about it, but the fact that the show had them do it bugged me.

    The 'Christopher' episode of The Sopranos is one of the most frustrating episodes of any show I've ever watched...

    Normalizing Trump is going to be a theme of 2019...shows are already starting to press Democrats on their shows about 'why don't you find a compromise' as if it's their fault the Gov is shut down...there's gonna be a TON of both sides BS from the media even more than there is now.

    There wasn’t a hearing today. Basically, the judges meet in private and vote on what cases they want to hear. That’s what happened today: they voted to take the case and set oral arguments for March.

    The Christopher Columbus love, he was an Italian, should be praised as a hero...fighting the native American protesters etc., and telling their son in school that the teacher is full of shit for teaching them that Columbus enslaved people by justifying it saying George Washington had slaves, the father of our country! Blah Blah Blah...just the naïve racist bullshit we see today. Show is on point though, with playing the other side and showing the argument from the perspective that Columbus is a POS...

    I don't think they were showing him any respect or even normalizing him by having the worst amateur bakers around make those cakes of him haha

    have you watched the fix?

    whole gist of the show is getting comedians to propose (generally over the top, humurous) solutions to the world's problems.

    episode nicole is on they are talking about gentrification/ homelessness and one of the other people presents their plan to solve the problem by giving homes from people to have multiple houses to those without homes and nicole was just like "this is actually the right solution"

    I know that the court probably cares fuck all about precedent but my understanding is that there is precedent for courts to step in on types of situations like this. {{meta.pageTitle}}
    That’s the case that coined “The Political Thicket”. Also didn’t Bush v. Gore kinda do similar shit?

    Sorry that link looks weird. It’s just oyez.com.
