What should I read to understand what's been happening as of late re: Brexit and her plan?

Basically. She negotiated the plan recently. Everyone got really mad at her and said it was bad. DUP, Tory brexiteers, Tory moderates, labour...everyone. Then she took it to the cabinet and surprisingly the cabinet accepted it. There were major rumors today and yesterday about an incoming no confidence vote but maybe the cabinet approval is a sign that won't be forthcoming. Really, as always with this government, everything comes down to the DUP, who feel strongly about Brexit (all of the easiest solutions to both the economic issues of Brexit *and* the Irish Border issue involve solutions the DUP despises [rightfully, because they would doom Unionism as a political movement forever imo].) Arlene is the leader of the DUP if you hadn't figured it out. I'm pretty sure though that even if the DUP didn't kill it, the Tory Brexiteers would be able to at least come damn close to toppling her without them. It's fascinating.

 

We don't actually have the text of the plan yet. Or we might but if we do it just happened. Everything is still developing

Yeah I don't even know what they mean? Is it a union vote or they just mean vote against it by not doing it? Either way nah. Definitely talk politics at work although by that I mean talk about the politics of how your boss is screwing you over

 

Are those ads new? Because I only recall these ads on this site anywhere for the first time this week.

 

For a brief period earlier this year, I would always see Depends adult diapers ads when I visited weather.com to check the weather

 

this conversation happens pretty often at my union job.

 

As an ad buyer, this would drive me nuts.
