My 73 year old Dad never stopped going out this entire time. He’d just go to the defiant restaurants. Mostly maskless. I fully believe he only wore them if I was there and made him put it on. Thankfully, he’s fully+booster but it’s so fucking frustrating

 

If the symptoms continue I would just get tested to see and if it came back positive obviously tell them. But personally I wouldn’t tell them anything now and possibly put them through the stress of making them think they might have been exposed to covid unless you were confident that is what it is

I was with someone Sunday who now had a known exposure Saturday. The person I was with Sunday is starting to feel sick, and plan to get tested ASAP.. If they got it Saturday there’s no way they’d be contagious Sunday?

 

I am not excited to return to work tomorrow. I am terrified of these post holiday surges.

I don’t believe this simply due to the fact that this person was able to get multiple of these tests. How!!

 

My girlfriend is trying to get tested today. Called a CityMD place and they said, "The line is wrapped around the building twice. You probably won't get seen today." Crazy shit.

 

I had a dream last night that Lauren Boebert died and Ilhan Omar tweeted out “some deaths are meant to be celebrated”. Dream didn’t last long enough to see the media reaction.

 

I at least wouldn't cry over it.

 

It's impossible to get a free test near me but there's this random "wellness" business in a random business park that is doing them for $110 bucks and is on the official NJ website for testing centers so I went there. Just need to submit the paperwork to insurance to get reimbursed.

 

I’m glad I grabbed a few boxes of the Binax tests and then some of the on/go from Walmart.

 

my brother got tested yesterday so he can visit our dad in the hospital, not only did he not get a result, the testing facility never even got his sample.

shit's fucked and we're only at 3k cases. they were saying the system is supposed to withstand the stress of 13k cases per day (which is still crazy in a popx of 8 mill)

 

At least the CDC memes have been good
