Housing costs and everyday costs like healthcare and daycare have gotten so out of control I think about them pretty much every day because I can’t understand how the average person is affording all of it and if I’m doing something wrong. It seems to me you have to be at least upper middle class to be able to afford stable, decent housing and childcare, in which case this country is a complete shithole for most people.

Been looking at hotels in Philly and just realized as I was browsing Four Seasons that it was the place Rudy thought he was going to be hosting his press conference.

Moose rule. That's a BIG boi though. I've only seen one male IRL and he was big but definitely seemed like a younger male so he wasn't that big.

We were talking to park rangers at RMNP and they were in the midst of a study to see if they need to cull the Moose numbers because they were starting to overpopulate the park. One of the possible options was reintroducing wolves to the park but they said that's almost definitely not gonna happen because the people of Grand Lake and Estes Park and any farmers in the area would be very much not appreciative of it lol

 

Do not spend 600 bucks on a hotel room c'mon man lol

i had to do it in Beverly Hills for a wedding I was in and while the room wasn’t out of this world, the perks were insane. They had a house car you could use to drive you anywhere within 2 miles for free. We figured we were gonna save Uber money on every trip, which we did, but we were stoked when it turned out the car was a rolls royce. It was awesome to be a bunch of random dudes rolling up to a dispensary in a rolls.

 

It’s mostly for the views as far as I can tell, as it’s the tallest building in Philly and the 14th tallest in America which is pretty cool and I didn’t realize Philly had buildings THAT tall. The rooms look really nice and have the ceiling to floor windows and all that which seems cool, but I’m also afraid of heights lol

But thanks to covid and pregnancy/planned future pregnancies this is probably the only anniversary in our first 4 that we’ll be able to do something fun as a couple and away from home that isn’t just dinner somewhere, so...I’m strongly considering it haha
