So what’s the TL:DR of all these tweets? Hard to read a consensus opinion

So if I have COVID right now and did not get my booster, how long am I supposed to wait after a negative test to get my booster?

These kids will never understand the horrible repercussions of raking up their parents' phone bills at 10 cents per text and 25 cents per MMS

kind of mind boggling how 15-20 years ago when texting became popular it just felt like something people would shit on teens for doing too much but nowadays its pulling teeth getting even 60 year olds to look up from their phones.

I got my first flip phone in 7th grade, then my first Android phone in 12th grade. I would probably be an iPhone user today if they weren't exclusive to AT&T when they first came out

I’ll also add that I’m on my 3rd iPhone in the past 11 years, my current one have had for the last six years. Only thing bad about it is the deteriorated battery life.

My first phone was a Motorola RAZR that I had to share with my little sister

Yeah I had one of those piece of shit Nokia tracphones and trying to text with the numerical keypad was a flipping chore. I blew through my minutes so quickly when I started texting girls in like late 2005 or 2006.

I specifically recall being on vacation in 2004 with one of my best friends when me and my (then) girlfriend got into a fight and made up - all via text message. Like, back when texting was hitting numbers 1-3 times depending on the letter you wanted.

I remember telling my friend at the time that it was so surreal that my GF and I got mad at each other and made up all without actually talking face to face or voice to voice.

My first phone was an LG flip phone when I was in grade 10 or 11. I didn’t even have a plan, I bought pre paid cards from convenience stores to text and call my friends, and my ringtone was My Humps because I thought it would be funny

Before I had a cell phone and back in the AP.net days, a girl from the site named Brittany (I think?) from California called me and we talked for like an hour. I think she was like 16 or so at the time, I was 15. I can’t imagine her parents were too happy. Mine certainly weren’t. I don’t think we ever actually talked again after that
