Being such a specific oddball story, you gotta be inclined to just believe it

 

Canceling student debt is super-cheap and politically necessary

 

That's not a strike that's a vacation.

Not to diminish what their doing, but what's the point of setting a day when the strike is over? You lose all of your negotiating power immediately.

 

Because it's the stretch of time where Wirecutter's traffic is by far the highest

 

I’m definitely not a fan of one-day strikes unless it’s part of sending a message that a full-on strike is looming, and that message is made explicit

 

I love seeing all the articles saying “hype for a Pete Buttigieg presidential run is growing!” It’s in the running for most astro-turfed story of the year.

I’ve got no idea who is going to run the Bernie lane in the coming decade in a credible way. New York feels too calcified to allow any of the NYC progressives/DSA types to make their way statewide, Keith Ellison is a weirdo, Warren is born to lose. Maybe one of Chicago’s socialist caucus council members can climb the ranks, but that’s going to take a long time.

 

went to the doctor like 2 weeks ago cus i was showing covid symptoms so i thought i'll just get myself tested. just got the bill for that visit: $55 for a covid test.

 

Did you not have an option to just schedule a test? They should be free.

 

Jeez, I get paid more than that to get covid tested for work on days I’m not scheduled but still have to make the drive.

 

i did schedule it, they still charged me for it on the statement lol.
