Question about the labor shortage. Considering Biden ended COVID unemployment benefits, where are all of these people quitting their jobs getting paid from? Have they just largely found better, remote jobs so they no longer need to work in the service industry?

during the press conference he was like cases are out of control we're working on increasing hospital capacity and preparing for a continued projected increase over the holidays and doing everything we can to encourage people to get vaccinated and stopping the spread...also the data just isn't there to institute a mask mandate

Honestly I don't think places are even asking questions about it. I went to CVS for my booster and they asked me exactly 0 questions about whether I was eligible

Yeah you can just claim you are work in a high risk job or have a condition putting you at risk when signing up, no one will ask you to prove it.

Haven’t done it myself but I have heard others that did that.

 

Seems to be a little different here. I tried and had to answer the eligibility questions. It’d be easy to just lie, there’s no prying, but I don’t want to do that.
