from tonight’s (amazing) Lower Decks episode

 

One of my favorite “youtubers” made a video on the latest Twitch leak that’s pretty interesting.

 

I didn't realize people were upset about this. I also don't really ever go on twitch though. critical has been around as long as I can remember youtube even being around too so it makes sense he's up there.

 

There was just a county deputy shot and a HUGE manhunt about 10 miles from me out in the boonies. We were listening to the scanner because they were calling any Fire & EMS in the area to cover the calls while every other units in the county were dealing with it. He shot the deputy 3 times after running on a traffic stop and 2 accidents. No deaths either way. This kinda shit doesn’t happen out in the boonies. I live on the border of my county and the neighboring one and we got emergency alerts on our phones to secure our property and not let anyone in. It was nuts for a little while.

lots of social media comments suggesting a “detour” with the suspect to further hospitals as punishment….thats not how EMS works. We’re not the judge and jury. It’s so frustrating to see.

The list of republicans voting for the debt ceiling increase is... weird.

Like sure, Collins and Murkowski are on there. But most of the other "moderates" are not. Toomey isn't running for reelection and yet still doesn't want to vote for the thing.

He would never do it, but man I still really love to see Biden putting out ads in AZ and WV telling voters to vote for someone else in the primaries

 

Yeah, this is a bad look. The fact that McAuliffe invested in The Carlyle Group both before and after becoming Virginia’s governor all while Glenn Youngkin was with the firm takes the teeth out of this a bit. I'm almost impressed with how much they're managing to shoot themselves in the foot with this race.
