My friends uncle had to get vaccinated in private and his wife found out and she almost divorced him over it.

we haven’t had any instances at my school, but a few articles were sent around by our counselings/nursing staff. This me angelic yields are weird (who wants a coffee maker in the same room where they poop?) but I’d take them any day.

 

I turn in my laptop tomorrow. Can't wait.

my friend's sister is in high school and was telling us that there is only one bathroom open in the entire school because it has gotten out of control. Someone stole a sink and also a mirror (how do you even get away with that??)

it's kinda funny tbh but it is shitty that staff has to deal with this mess and now literally have to have a teacher patrol the single bathroom that is allowed to be open.

 

Yeah can tell you right now the last thing teachers need is more dumbass teenager stuff to worry about on top of everything else we're already worried about.

Our 9th graders this year, most of which ahven't set foot inside a school building since 7th grade, are fucking rough. It's bad. Worst classroom management issues I've had in a while. Doesn't help I've got classroom sizes at 28-33 for students that absolutely need to be in smaller classes.

 

Yeah I’d hate to deal with it if I was a high school teacher but it’s still kinda funny

 

Maybe I’m missing it, maybe I’m biased because I’m a school administrator, but what’s humorous about it? It’s straight up unprincipled vandalism.

If they were doing this at police stations or at the local Goldman Sachs office as an F you, I could get behind it and find the humor. At underfunded public schools full of overworked teachers, admin, and staff just for fun? Eh, I’m just not seeing it.

 

I mean the kids don't know or care. They will when they're older.

high school kids doing dumb shit is inevitable and at least no one's getting hurt , the main issue seems to be that schools are so underfunded that they just can't get more soap, I'm glad the bathrooms have soap now
