  1. The approval is good for more mandates, especially schools.

The thing about mandates is...there are typically religious or medical exemptions tied to them. These people will search for any doctor to give them a note that says they cannot be vaccinated.

unfortunately a lot of these weirdos won’t even be swayed by being locked out of society, because they don’t engage with it much to begin with. my republican step dad is vaxxed but if he wasn’t, the only kind of mandate that would reach him would be a job. travel? doesn’t go anywhere, america is the best. concerts? absolutely doesn’t go to those. restaurants? who cares. bars? drinks at home. completely uncultured.

I can't tell you how many people I see on social media bitch about the concert venue vaccine mandates. I've seen so many 'wellp, guess I'm not going to concerts anymore' comments as well as 'I will not be bullied into getting vaccinated' comments.

These people will just stop doing shit...or worse, buy fake vaccine cards.

luckily there are enough progressives to tank the bipartisan bill in the House so if reconciliation doesn't get through the Senate then nothing gets done

Watching the mandates/requirements pour in today after the FDA approval and knowing the antivaxxers are melting down over it like

Hopefully the FDA authorization is good push but it's mostly gonna be employers requiring you to be vaccinated or you can't work.

And if people would rather lose their job and have to deal with the absolute shit use of time finding another one they were probably never going to get it in the first place.

She participated in a coup, her government killed 22 protesters, and she’s charged with genocide. I guess she’s feeling sad about it.

CVS is also somewhat notorious and stringent on this haha. Our state just moved our prescription plan to CVS and they are shooting down nearly everyone's established prescriptions. People have been piiiiisssed

Sure, but that assumes that she and Manchin actually care about getting anything done and wouldn't be content to just tell voters "see, we could've had infrastructure but the progressives ruined it for everybody."
