Niceee; although, right now in MN the humidity is bruuuttallll. Especially this past week, and this week too. 97 F tomorrow. But I'll always take this weather over the brutal winters we have here, lol (saw -33F ambient on an early morning drive in February to Duluth).

 

Yeah its hot as fuck here today/tomorrow too but ill take it over the blizzards haha. I'm suuuper excited for some of my favorite restaurants up there though. (well, and a kidney too but ya know)

I say this as a resident of Missouri, Lake of the Ozarks is arguably one of the trashiest places in the whole state.

 

People from my area flock to the Ozarks every year.

 

I hadn’t heard of anyone going to the Ozarks until my buddy’s Q-pilled, vaccine conspiracy parents went there last year.

 

That hearing was pretty powerful.

Maybe naive of me, but since I've been vaccinated I'm not personally scared of COVID anymore. I want to have my mask off at the movies or restaurant if it's allowed

I feel like I say this daily, but I can't even fathom the hypocrisy of those on the right. It's insane. All about supporting police officers, but then they call them the n-word if they get in their way. GTFOH.

 

Unless state's mandate a face mask requirement in schools again (which is highly unlikely), the CDC's recommendation likely won't carry much weight, unfortunately. I know for a fact that the school board for the school district I work for is hell bent against masks and will not require them. Even when Ohio was under the face mask order, we had board members trying to overturn the school district's face mask policy.

 

A large majority of states will entirely ignore the CDC's guidance, and the local governments in those states won't push the issue. I'm not even sure it was worth releasing the new guidance tbh.
