After working at a theme park, I would NEVER EVER go on a ride at a fair or small time theme park.

And honestly, even more legit parks you’re taking a chance. Even if they do all the proper checks and tests and maintenance, all it takes is a couple dumbasses to go do something stupid. like with this death below, it likely had passed all inspections but then employees decided to do work on it without manufacturer approval to allow bigger guests to ride. That’s a huge fuck up. If they hadn’t altered the restraint he would not have fit and never been on the ride and be alive today.
