I still think the funniest about this is how inexplicable the chant is in the first place. The crowd could be living in the escapism of a sport they love and paid to see. Instead of embracing the small reliefs life gives us, they see a driver a win a race and choose to scream that they hate the president lmao. Even the driver, who is conservative, went on record like “I want nothing to do with that”

When I watch that clip, it seems like she knows what they're saying but doesn't want to convey I suppose would be the word that they're all clearly slipping F-bombs onto TV, so she kinda tries to spin it into something nice for the guy who just won.

I will not get my hopes up about trump actually getting in trouble for something until it actually happens and even then I might wait a month or 2.

 

Kinda hope they find some really bad shit, or he just drops dead....I know, horrible thing to say, but IDGAF.

 

Short of him being sent to prison and thus unable to run, I just don't see what they could possibly find at this point that will break his stranglehold on the Republican party. What else do you do with nuclear secrets other than sell them? They're not souvenirs.

Is there any evidence Trump's passport was actually taken?

I see both "It was taken because Trump is a flight risk" and "Trump destroyed it himself as a means to try and undermine the investigation and be like 'they took my passport!'"

 

I don't think its that big a deal that they took his passport, and his base is already outraged. Would be a weirdly specific thing to make up, so I'm guessing its true and either it was just part of the files, or as someone's whose stolen classified material to sell to foreign powers, he's definitely a flight risk.

I was trying to explain to my wife how emo wasn’t just My Chemical Romance and 00s screamo, then straight up froze and didn’t speak for like 5 minutes when she asked me to explain what qualities made The Get Up Kids and Caracara the same genre.
