  4. Tweets seem to have been loading somewhat better over the past week. I checked a few other places, and seen others complaining about them using up a lot of memory on phones too ... but there's not a whole lot more I can do.

I'll keep exploring, but if anyone sees another site that is using a LOT of Twitter embeds, but it seems to be running smooth, please let me know so I can investigate how/what they're doing.

'09. I graduated high school at the perfect time to make me anxious about the economy for the rest of my life.

‘04 so 9/11 was sophomore year for me, but yeah that description fits pretty well. Graduated during the Bush/Kerry election year. That was hell.

‘02. On 9/11, I distinctly remember a teacher telling the class to “expect to wake up tomorrow morning drafted.” Haha. Trauma piled on top of trauma.

Class of 07 here. I was in 7th or 8th grade for 9/11 and we actually had school off that day. I ended up experiencing it alone for the most part since my parents were at work. I think my dad came home early though because of that.

‘06. The perfect year/age of adolescent existence imo, in terms of our internet and social media experience. Didn’t have computers and AIM until the 10-12 age range so we got through our childhoods still relatively innocent lol. Teen years had the best music popular with 3rd wave emo and pop punk.

The outside world on the other hand, sucked. 9/11 for 8th grade, iraq war for 9th, Bush and then the economy tanks halfway through our college years, the tea party, etc.

man that was a rough intro to politics in terms of first presidential election and vote. All the hope and optimism of Obama depsite the economic crash only to meet the Tea Party and the rude awakening of an entrenched Dem leadership that came up during the Reagan Revolution and third way was the way to win and etc.
