I'm a veteran that spent time in those damn burn pits back in 2011. Only made a few trips into them, but I'm telling you that shit was toxic as fuck. I knew it back then and I know it now. I'll never forget the smell and how it felt in my lungs and not having the means to protect myself. In my 30's now and no signs of anything wrong yet, but I'm paranoid something is going to come up from the exposure.

What's shittier is seeing vets I served with still spewing all their anti-liberal garbage and supporting these dumb fucks that don't give a shit about them. They never have, but as long as they're "sticking it to the libs", that's all they care about. Sickening.
