Edwards and Cawthorn are both just terrible and going to vote terribly, lowkey would have preferred the guy who was hated by GOP leadership and spilled the beans about orgies to keep things interesting.

 

Cawthorn should totally run as an independent anyway, do it

Have to think Oz is the easier opponent for Fetterman, right?

 

I would think so. Their platforms are equally terrible, but McCormick seems more competent

I know we're just trading one shithead for another, but seeing Cawthorn lose is uniquely satisfying

 

the fact that he looks like Vince McMahon invited him to a gala is what makes him electable

 

PS-I volunteered to be on a committee in my district to review new Civics textbooks to get (we haven't gotten new once since like 2006), so our district person put together a list of books for us to look at....one of the first ones we eliminated was a textbook that, in the chapter about the writing and foundations of the Constitution, talked about "compromises of the Constitution/convention”, like an entire section of the chapter with its own subtitle and everything....and neither the 3/5ths compromise or the compromise on the slave trade were mentioned at all. Wild.

Definitely amazing how quickly the GOP turned Cawthorn from one of their darlings to completely destroying him.

Would be nice if he goes full scorched earth, but I imagine he's already got some seven figure job lined up as long as he keeps his mouth shut.

 

Cawthorne is like 26, he has a whole lifetime of back door shilling ahead of him, no need to go scorched earth unless that well dries up too
