Had my brother's Trump supporting brother in law yelling at me in public during my brother's bachelor party over the weekend. Was on one side of the table, talking with my brother's best man (who has similar thoughts on politics as me) about the Desantis/Disney and whether he thought Desantis would run for President (both subjects in a very general manner and because his best man lives in Florida). Then I am being yelled at about inflation, gas prices, and the border from the other side of table. Which escalated to him getting red faced and standing above me yelling. He was escorted out of the brewery by my brother to calm him down.

Dude was a giant douche the entirety of the trip and that experience above was not even the worst behavior he exhibited.

 

Is Fetterman’s stroke expected to have a big impact on the race? Will another candidate see an increase because people are switching? I imagine any Fetterman voters that switch probably wouldn’t go to Lamb

At this point I feel like the majority of the Dem vote has already probably been banked via early voting/mail in vote, so not sure how much CAN change now

 

Without knowing any details, but having had a stroke myself, his stroke looks to be *extremely* mild. I don't anticipate any lingering effects or impact on the primary. By the time November rolls around this will be way back in the rear view mirror.

the very conservative private church of Christ college I went to hosted a festival every spring for all the student musicians/bands. My friends and I auditioned as a Rage cover band called All The Rage and played Bulls on Parade for the audition (which we fkin nailed). Despite loving our performance, the judges denied our entry after the fact by way of ghosting us and instead chose a bunch of their friends to play every slot.

Two of the guys that auditioned with us were in another band that did happen to make it in (just some shitty cover band). In the last 5 minutes of their set, half of their band jumped off the stage and made way for myself and the other members of All The Rage so we could play Bulls on Parade. I remember specifically calling out the judges (I was the vocalist LMAO) and thanking them for letting us play and then launching into the song to everyone's confusion. I still remember the horrified looks of the judges lol

Man, us Christian college students were WILD, let me tell you.
