this fucking country. everything else I’m seeing suggests the shooter is a white supremacist.

 

Article about the shooting also says a retired police officer shot the guy, but he was wearing body armor so it did nothing and the shooter then killed the retired police officer.

So…about that “good guy with a gun” theory

 

Also, just saw the photos of the shooter being arrested and softly led by the arm to a police car and glory be there ain’t a scratch on him. It would seem the police really are capable of not indiscriminately murdering people when the moment is white.

 

Not confident any 401k is going to be sound by the time millennials reach retirement age. I just don’t know how that money isn’t going to end up in someone else’s pocket.

Got a notification about this but I really wish I didn’t read about the woman being shot in the head. Disgusting.

 

I have nothing nice to say about the topic but figured it would be being discussed here. I'm not surprised. I'm really not. I haven't gone digging too much to prevent myself from getting irrationally angry about something I can't control, but the little bit I have seen gives me enough information.

At first I saw some blurbs taken from his manifesto saying he was from "the Southern Tier" of NY which I mean...that's literally 3/4 of the bottom part of NYS. Later on I saw a larger portion that mentioned he bought his Bushmaster in Endicott. This asshole drove across the damn state to do this. Because he knew the "highest concentration" of non-white folks he could find would be in the heart of the East Side of Buffalo.

I'm just so sick of this. I'm so sick of these people existing. There's so many people that are slowly normalizing small shreds of what is really just white supremacist propaganda, bit by bit, over the last few years. I hate it here.
