  1. If you're posting and spreading shit from Washington Free Beacon you should probably reevaluate how you're spending your day.

I mean, it's just irritating that the right is so obsessed with tracking every single potential error this guy makes when like, 90%-95% of the bad decisions we make as a nation have absolutely nothing to do with him.

I'm not saying Biden's perfect or even good, but what does any of this bullshit actually prove? How does it help? The answer is that it doesn't. It's just another stupid smokescreen that gets in the way of real issues.

Plenty of bad decisions have a lot to do with Biden either doing nothing or doing bad things and that actually is what we should be focused on because he has enormous power as the president and is pissing it away. we should not be focused on him wandering around after a speech, that is like the least offensive thing he’s done

To be fair, the left did the same thing with Trump.

It's nothing new. People will always look for every tiny mistake or mishap and treat it like it's a huge incident.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm unclear at this point how much power the president actually has in the face of Congress. It seems to me that a lot of decisions have to get through people like Pelosi, Manchin, and McConnell before they ever get to Biden, so that's why I said what I did.

I feel like people actually place way too much importance on the man in the chair and not the dunderheads around him. That's why focusing on things like whether Biden is mentally fit is so infuriating to me. It's like, what about all the other idiots we have? They're causing way more damage in my opinion.

But I'm also gleaning all my political information from what I read here, so I may be missing some pieces. Feel free to correct me, it's the only way I'll learn.

I don’t disagree that Congress deserves more blame than they get and I wish the media talked more about the power this Supreme Court has grabbed. But as far as power of the president, in general day to day life is effected more by executive government agencies than by Congress, and the President has power to direct virtually every government agency. In that way I do think it’s not controversial to say the president does have more power than any other individual in government. Biden could be doing a lot more to help people and on things like pollution and energy. We should be pushing him on that.

Biden turns and does the hands out to sides/fake surprise face every time he’s done speaking. Looks goofy as fuck when there’s no one standing immediately in range.

Anyway he should be bringing Joe Manchin in for ass beatings every day and isn’t so

Nah, it's okay. I'm kind of in a mood right now, so don't mind me.

That being said, what is your personal take on the division of power?

  23. sophos34

the court has the most power of any institution, which the president appoints which gives them the most power, but through executive orders the president can get much more done than you think which is why “well congress…” doesn’t really track for me
