I mean not saying it's not allowable, I am not even saying it's unwarranted. But the fervor some leftists like to go at AOC is in no relation to her supposed crimes.

Like yeah, call her out, let her know how she fucked up, but pretending she's some sort of fake or CIA psy-op to make you turn to Ayn Rand is completely uncalled for.

Admittedly, both probably have an equally minuscule chance of making a difference, so yes, I really want to see her scream in his face and call him a coward. Would certainly make for a much more entertaining moment at the very least.

But, yeah, like it or not, AOC is among the best we have who could conceivably win an election and the country would be much, much better if we had more people of her ideological leanings as opposed to the flaming hot garbage that is the current group in congress. I've never campaigned for her or anything because I do largely doubt the influence that any left-leaning politician could have in Washington, but it seems like the ideal at this point in time (my apologies to some in here, but I don't foresee Jacobinism arising from the dead any time too soon) is to do tons of grassroots organizing while also pushing for representatives who are somewhat sympathetic to activist demands. Or at least those who can be called out on being hypocrites if they don't act on it

AOC asking Biden to cancel student loans, as if that’s not 90% of what her Twitter account is, is not any where near as impactful as organizing can be. Stupid as fuck to think otherwise. I feel the same way about Bernie tweeting about “we need Medicare for All now” Jesus Christ how can any of you continue to pay attention to these people it’s fucking silliness. There is no politician at the federal level worth stanning or leaping to the defense of.

Just a bunch of grown ass adults hoping that the avengers come and fix their problems.
