I love how much of that op-ed is just "the classroom allows us to discuss really uncomfortable topics but my classmates seem uncomfortable discussing said uncomfortable topics. Why is this happening?" And the only evidence provided is "80% of students don't blurt out the first thing that comes to their mind in the classroom." Which is both completely reasonable and also a remnant of the hierarchies that conservatives so badly cling to. You don't say how you really feel because you think the person who's smarter than you will think you're an idiot. Hell, I'm fully aware that my political leanings align with my professors and there are still plenty of times where I'm like "I think this may be kind of a stupid thing to say, so I'll just keep my mouth shut"

 

If that's how self driving cars would navigate lights, with seemingly abrupt maneuvers and stops like that, I'd finally change my stance to working from home as I'd shit myself on the daily if I had to fly through traffic lights trusting AI like that. Yeah i mean....the weird fascination with nazi elements of Ukraine that are pretty tiny is....like, yeah, there are some bad guys on the Ukrainian side of things. There always are in conflict. Doesn't really change the fact that the overall Ukrainian cause of being their own sovereign nation is relatively good, considering said Nazis won't be in control of, well, anything.

The far right wing party got like 2% in the last national elections. They're not really in a place to simply "take over".

If Ukraine wins this thing....you think the people of Ukraine are simply going to let a very small minority in their country overtake warhero Zelenskyy or anyone else involved in the central defense planning on Kyiv for that matter? Not a chance.
