Nah. At least me and my circle are not.
I’m living in Taiwan and no one I know here is that concerned or I’m just around people who don’t focus on international politics. Here are a some of reasons I’m not.

1) Unlike Ukraine, China can’t roll tanks into the countries borders.
2) China would have to prepare a sea/air invasion which the world would see at least two days in advance.
3) There are only about 4 or 5 beaches that are suitable for an invasion by sea and those beaches are small. Most of the coastal areas are rocky and deep, not good for invasion troops.
4) Taiwan is incredibly mountainous which doesn’t benefit an air invasion.
5) Advanced chips. More than 60% of the world’s advanced chips come out of Taiwan. I highly doubt other countries would willingly let China absorb those.

Who knows, though? Maybe China will try something. Xi knows without a doubt that an invasion would be far more difficult than Russia invading Ukraine. I just don’t see him doing it. He’ll play the long game and try to weaken the spirits of Taiwanese people. The recent events in Hong Kong have put a big pause on that, though. Xi will just have to get extremely desperate, which I don’t think he is at this point.

Clearly bullshit. Maybe they suppressed the larger radar guided SAMs, but you can't really "suppress" highly mobile infrared guided MANPADS like the Stinger in the same way, which we already know the US supplied the Ukrainian Army with a bunch of.

My theory is this is putin getting a war/full annexation out of his system before he eventually croaks.

I don't know what Putin will gain out of this; Russian economy will be seriously fucked in the short term, especially if SWIFT comes around to locking them out. Him/Russia will be shut out of international organizations in various capacities. Yeah they have giant reserves to afford all this, but how long will that last.
