I forget is it 5 Guys that have the seasoned fries similar to Checker's or is that Red Robin?

 

I’m a simp for McDonald’s fries but it might just be a flavor of nostalgia for me

 

Steak and Shake fries hands down the worst. BK fries runner up for worst.

 

I know the subject has been beaten to death, but the CDC lying about masks initially was hugely detrimental and I don't think they have ever recovered. As a hypothetical thought exercise I can see someone arguing that lying about masks to protect the vital supply on hand was the "right" move - but they could have been honest and open about the guidance while still putting in place all of the same measures that prohibited the public from buying the masks.

They were blocked on almost all retailers, you couldn't get them on Amazon for a while, etc. I was able to buy N95's on eBay the entire time though, I just massively overpaid for "automotive painting equipment" N95's as opposed to massively overpaying for healthcare N95's on Amazon like I do now.

I chock that entire episode up to gaslighting, and that's a relatively minor example in the grand theme of things in regards to their handling.

 

Shake Shack over Five Guys IMO. I more of a smashburger fan though so I think that is why, though I guess after googling Five Guys is a smashburger as well. That confuses me but Shake Shacks is better.

 

Yeah huge difference between vaccines alone aren't enough and the vaccines are useless which is patently false

 

Shake Shack is the best burger but their fries are mid

 

The simple truth is that our leaders need to gaslight us about things we all know to be true because otherwise they would have to admit that our system of government (and our general ethos as a country) is incapable of actually swiftly adjusting to an event of this nature.

The anti-democratic senate, federalism, individualism as an ethos, and our inability to imagine non-martial solutions cripple us in a unique way. And that is by design!

 

The newer Wendy's fries are pretty darn good, though I think I was one of the only people who liked the ones before their recent switch.

Also honorary mention to Culver's because i do appreciate a diner style crinkle cut.

 

When these come soggy, it really ruins the whole day.

 

The bags of curly, seasoned Arby's fries that they sell at the grocery store are my go to. They come out perfect in the airfryer.

 

5 Guys is so damn overpriced

 

This is where I always come out on it too. I like their food, but the cost is absurd.

 

I'm not a fry guy, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Don't care for em. Any of them.

 

Rally's is some of the worst quality food I've ever had. Instant rumblies every time.

Wendy's new fries are worse than they were but it's barely noticeable. Still decent.

Burger King and Jack are bad, Jack's curly fries are okay.

Arby's curly fries are the best curly fries.

McDonald's still GOAT.

In n Out fries are good, anyone who says different doesn't like actual potatoes.

 

Checkers and Popeyes have my favorite fries, personally. I need my fries to be crispy and those are almost always crispy.

New Wendy's fries are way better than they have been because they do stay crispy for way longer. The way they were, they'd come soggy every single time. I truly never had a crispy fry from Wendy's between when they switched to the natural cut fries and when they debuted the current ones.

Arby's curly fries are the only thing worth getting from there other than the Jamocha shake. They're great curly fries.

I don’t really dislike any fries though lol. Wendy’s, McDonald’s, the corner store by my apartment, White Castle, Steak ‘n Shake, BK I like em all lol

 

I remember when people just called it “the government regularly lying to you” and not “gaslighting”
