What further complicates this (in my mind) is that I work for an international company, and what's offensive in the USA may not be offensive in other places (see you next Tuesday comes to mind). I'd feel better if we just scrapped the whole idea but it's wayyyy down the pipeline now and I'm just a junior copywriter who wants to make sure we do the right damn thing.
