  3. I, and many other posters, have explained why we don't reply and avoid engaging anymore. Most recently Dom laid out what I said months ago. I've seen at least three other posters say similar.

Are we overstating the influence stein had again? Damn this thread is the most unoriginal on the site, besides maybe unpopular music opinion thread

I imagine loving Hillary Clinton and hating rap music would be connected yes

  11. No. I've given my reasons. So have others. Muitlple times. I have explained exactly why and when I will stop engaging, and have followed through. Here's a perfect example.

  12. the quote specifically says "there are differences between them, no doubt, but they're not different enough to save your life, your job, or your planet," which is all true. war and capitalism will end us all. the only thing I'd add is that Trump will most definitely kill many additional people with things like the AHCA, etc. I'm not saying "they're basically the same," just that their differences aren't enough to save us in the end.

Ben's comments aside, I mean, I do this with people who don't understand and need education (and not snarkily I don't mean this thread). We could probably have had policy discussion here, but you lobbed a "at least she's not trump" grenade and then also jumped on it and now are asking why we have surface level discussions about this.

Ill stan for Clinton before I'll stan for FOB and I don't give a damn

  14.
  15. And I'm saying if anyone can't see the massive differences ***now*** ... I got nothing else to say, it's a lost cause.

  18. So why do you demand a response? I read it. I didn't feel compelled to continue the conversation and don't think it woulda been productive. So I didn't.

  23. it's all relative. yes, I would feel much better if Clinton were president right now. I've felt that way since day one. I will gladly admit that. that said, with Clinton we wouldn't have the AHCA to deal with, but I have no confidence we'd be any closer to single-payer, which is (in my mind) the single most needed policy in the US today.

I assume you're referring to the "most progressive platform" in history. Well, yes, they adopted some of Bernie's policies, like minimum wage, which is where the base was anyway, and went to the right or stuck with the status quo on the rest.

Well, I didn't write that. It was from this.

As far as your other comments, I suppose I find them interesting coming from a liberal racist that, quite literally, spent the past two pages telling people that it is okay to subject marginalized groups to violence, because politics often demands a sacrifice and it certainly isn't going to come from the suburbs, where the real people (White Panera Republicans) live.

  25. Am I the only person that thinks Panera really sucks?
