But, Democrats didn't care for quite some time. Therein lies the problem. I mean, this has been their game plan for the past forty or so years for all of their consituencies, with the exception of the big money donors. "Wokeness" and social liberalism is meaningless in a very real way, if they are unattached to material policies; otherwise, it's just a bunch of white liberals patting themselves on the back for not being racist - even though they're probably pushing people of color out of their increasingly gentrified neighborhoods.

 

Of course Democrats as a party don't care, there's too much money in politics flying around.

That's why you vote for policies being espoused and see who's most match up with yours. The one's that are closer will be easier to pressure once in office than the ones who are further. And we're in a time period where the ones who are further away are so far away that they're advocating doing the complete opposite of what you want done.

Don't vote because you think one party or the other cares. Vote for the better policy, the policies that are closer to what you want.

 

I guess what I'm saying is, this gets argued time and time again, and there's little change. It's just reinforcing the same centrist politics that help no one in the working class.
