vote/non-vote shaming is a quintessential reformist badge level. It does nothing to further or improve discourse and only serves the perpetual worship of a structurally and fundamentally predatory, bigoted, and evil system. it may be irony that links distrust of the system across party lines; it may be material conditions; it may be the dialectical intersection of conservative and progressive thought. it seems to me that the only constant here is neoliberal ideology treading on the bodies and voices of the oppressed. the cyclical paradox of the expectation of political education and action vs the material reality and lived experience of minorities may be a game for bourgeois liberal ideology and leftist twitter personas who are 'radicalised' by cth, but until the hardline leftists and liberals start engaging people where they're at, it will continue to be a cesspool of impotence and alienate potential allies by virtue of bullshit elitism and flippant hypocrisy re: intersectionality. literally all it takes is a second of non-reactionary enlightenment to step out of yourself and say, "hey, i see you." it's not fucking everest.

Cause some account full of numbers and letters saying stupid shit to a hundred fake looking followers on twitter is pretty pointless compared to stopping the deportations themselves IMO. You said you wanted me or y'all to speak up about it, I've been speaking up about it for like 10 years at least. No one should be deported. Period.

(And that game changer account is full of some heinous shit too. I can't believe what they let on twitter. Was just an absent thought after reading the tweets you posted and looking at the accounts, I'm not looking to argue over anything.)
