Man, remember when people thought he was the next great hope? Wild times.

 

I know this was pages ago but I wanted to tack on to this that while it's great advice, voters are never actually going to do what she's saying. People are lazy and instead of holding politicians accountable, most people are perfectly content to pinch their nose and vote for someone like Trump or Clinton or not vote at all. I just don't think it's a realistic approach to politics and there's gotta be another solution to getting better candidates (not that I have one)

Interesting that David hasn't posted here since this Booker news came out... hmmm, probably rethinking his strategy with the Kochs rn

Also the thing is if he just kept his mouth shut no one would have realized or blamed him nearly as much as they do now, I'm glad he's not running.

 

I've been in the middle of a move so haven't been paying attention over the last couple days but I've seen a lot of Dems being overly cautious in their persuit of everything and anything related to Trump/Russia so it doesn't surprise me to see them cautioning against making bigger moves until they know without doubt. Same reason why Rep Lewis is trying to slow the roll of impeachment talk.

 

Yeah but like, this isn't a huge thing and it's something most Dems support afaict. It's just a call for removing/suspending his clearance until the investigation plays out. That's not impeachment or close.

 

Please do a live Skype call in show. That would be hilarious

 

Removing the security clearance of the guy who is by all accounts the president's closest and most trusted advisor would be a pretty big deal. If it came out later there was nothing to this there would be a lot of Egg face.

Of course, he never deserved the clearance in the first place...

 

Had a fun time today reading about whether or not Trump could legally pardon himself and by fun I mean depressing because the general consensus seems to be that there would be nothing legally stopping him from doing so.

 

With this administration and the power of Twitter, I can now say that I've directly told the POTUS to "fuck himself". More than once even.
