At least EU avoided Le Penn and it also is looking like Merkel will keep her seat. Looks like they will continue to have strong leadership. I hope they sanction the shit out of the US. I really do.

From the articles I've been reading, China, India, the EU Bloc, etc, have all expressed their commitment regardless of what the US does. We'll see what happenes if we do leave, but I think the overall sentiment is that countries have it in their best interests to act regardless of what the US does, for reasons of economic development, pollution reduction, etc

I believe this part is incorrect, as of a few months ago I saw an article that there is or was actually a lot of anti-Semitic stuff happening in Toronto.

That's what I'm trying to remember, I thought about it but wasn't 100% sure of which way. I'll search for it

UK LIB DEM Party move to legalize it??

I see part of the Lib Dem UK manifesto is the total legalization of Cannabis. I guess it's their move to reach younger voters. . . Personally I think this is fine, it’s cheaper to treat addiction than it is to police it, they’ll will be a lot less drug offenders in jail meaning other criminals won’t have to be released early to save space, and they should be a decrease in violent offences relating to the illegal sale, smuggling and supplying of the drug. And of course the revenue created by it.

However there are problems it causes with mental health. Julian Knight, the Tory candidate running for the seat of Solihull, told The Telegraph: “I've come across parents who have lost children to suicide, or seen them go through horrendous mental health issues where cannabis has been a factor. ”

I myself have had serious problems with the drug, it very nearly ruined my life, got me locked up due to mental health issues and I even came close to suicide. Even now after ten or so years of recovering, my life is still drastically altered!

The problem with modern weed or the most commonly sold stuff, Skunk, is that it’s not the same drug your hippy parents used to pass around at parties, it is actually MUCH stronger. Typically when marijuana grows naturally in the wild it contains two agents in it, one which make the user Psychotic (THC), and one which is actually an anti-psychotic agent, (CBD) and these two agents are basically equally potent and stored in roughly equal amounts and balance each other out as you get high.

Now what a lot of modern growers have done is create strains that have greatly strengthened the THC in their plants and greatly reduced the CBD to make their product as strong as possible, so in essence, modern users are taking a drug which has potential to make you psychotic on a permanent basis and can cause a great deal of mental problems over time.
SO in short I think if by some miracle they do get it and pass through the legalization, they should really monitor who’s growing the stuff and go back to the strains which would have grown naturally in the wild.

The one time I smoked Thai Stick AND the only time I ever even saw a seed in a bag, it was the most mellow high of my life and I think if they regulate the drug if could be very beneficial to us all. . .
