This is just ridiculous, and that's coming from a gun owner. There's absolutely no benefit here. If anything, it just creates more potential for something really fucked up to happen.

Like, "Hey everyone, my gun is outside locked and loaded in my car. So if you plan on shooting up the school, please give me time to retrieve it."
