Yep, it's one of the websites that I frequent the most along with The Baffler, Current Affairs, and sometimes Jacobin. Some of the pieces on The Outline are really out of left field but so good.

 

The side by side comp pics with this and the Merkel meeting are pretty telling. And, as I believe the tweet said, does not give the assumed impression as to which one is our friend and which one our antagonist.

 

Glad the Arrested Development memes are going strong. Much more staying power than Friends memes.

i think we're saying don't be happy that people will get hurt, especially as if every single person who lives in a state voted that way when in fact redistricting, voter suppression, and misinformation means that a lot of folks got a shit deal/no deal at all with their vote. it's not an effective or humane way to do politics
