Should've just chanted "YOU'RE FIRED! YOU'RE FIRED! YOU'RE FIRED!" Seems more appropriate to me, for some reason.

 

For some reason this is now stuck in my head, I read "the league" and "sang" and apparently my brain goes HERE ENJOY THIS BEING IN YOUR HEAD ALL FUCKING DAY

 

the message is good, yes, but grinning and singing in the wake of this......doesn't seem to be. at least wait literally any amount of time before being smug about how you will now maybe be able to win after losing constantly for years

 

all i think about this show now is "that one dude lied about being 9/11 lol"

I can't believe anyone thinks it's a smug smile of victory...it's def angry, we about to fight smiling. It is more than anything else a defense mechanism, but def just trying to troll the GOPers that voted for this.

 

We need some better phrasing attached to this, Trumpcare is fine but not really covering the impact because people who hate trump already hate this. 24 million can get sick in one month, be broke in two and dead in three, and any sort of article about chanting or 2018 elections just does not seem to convey the weight of the death sentences they're putting out with this bill

I was thinking it would go like "you're FIRED! you're FIRED! you're FIRED!" If you can make that sound how it sounds in my head.

 

I dunno, I kinda like the idea of projecting confidence instead of panic or depression or desperation. It's definitely the move the GOP woulda gone with and a few months ago everyone was saying it was the playbook. But a tweet describing a smirk or whatever can be read a few ways I guess Rorschach style.

 

i don't think that. i just think some composure in, at least, the immediate wake of the thing is apt. in fact in general smugness is probably good. but wait, like, a day, and remember that your own incompetence is a part of the reason you're in this mess in the first place
