You have to offer people something that isn't what they have now. The other person being a fascist, obviously, isn't enough. So, maybe he should try to win those voters. To you, that's an ultimatum. You also have to offer something that enough people want, or it doesn't matter. I know you hate electoral politics because of this (I do too, really), but you can't get in office if more people want what the other person is selling, and/or don't want what you're selling. To you, that's neoliberalism. To me, that's politics.

I think a better take is that the only response to "So you're cool with Trump being the president?" has been to dive head-on into absurdity and start insinuating people are cool with genocide as if that's an actual thing.

There is no two state solution. What is left of the Palestinian territory not occupied by settlers isn't enough to house and support the millions of displaced Palestinian refugees, especially less so now that those settlements have been increased, what, 8x during Obama and Netanyahu? What does "don't support the settlements" mean? They don't support more of them? That's nice, but too late. They want the Israelis living in these settlements to be removed? Which settlements? How many? Because the entire state of Israel is a settlement. So, any number would be picked randomly, or based on an arbitrary cut off date or geographic line, in which case you are acknowledging the wrongness of it but still advocating its continuation. And any "Jewish State" is an ethno-nationalist state, is inherently anti-Palestinian, and inherently undemocratic. So, my response to these people would be, you support an ethno-nationalist, anti-Palestinian, non-secular, inherently undemocratic state, the continued displacement and death of Palestinians, and aren't holding a progressive position at all. My response to you would be, those people do support Israel in more than their own mind, and aren't my allies. My response to the people that would say this is anti-semitism would be, I'm Jewish, and go fuck yourself.
