Nothing feels better than owning your own dad in a political debate imo

 

The problem is he doesn't realize he's being owned, he's just so ridiculously out of touch. I almost feel bad but you gotta learn pops.

Last time I saw him he said something like "I know putin is bad but believe me if it were anyone else Russia would be in the toilet", I'm pretty sure I lost my voice yelling at him

My grandfather died in 2005 but the first movie he saw in theaters in years was Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 and he and my grandma were so pissed at my dem mom for voting Bush in his second term. They were both born in the 20s and grew up in Germany (during and post hitler) as white Christians and got the f out of there as soon as they could. Gpa spoke 5 languages and served a few times. Wish I knew hI'm better, he'd be hilarious in this current political climate.

It does feel super weird to complain about the right in our country compared to what you guys have, haha. At worst we have to deal with our universal health care being underfunded so we may have to pay for some of it. Big social issues like abortion and church and state separation are largely foregone arguments here. Still, plenty to dislike even if it's not as outwardly racist/sexist like the Republicans seem to be.
