All for what? I follow tech news pretty closely and Microsoft, Google, and Apple have all said this is going to affect hundreds of employees. Do Trumps followers think this is suddenly going to open up jobs for them? Sorry, a high school diploma and a non-existent IQ still isn't going to qualify you to work in these fields.

These companies are going to find other ways to fill these roles - and it isn't going to be with under qualified Americans.

Hopefully congress can act within that 6 month period to give these people a permanent solution and a simple path to citizenship. I think it could get the votes. There are quite a few republicans I can think of that would support that

  6. But would Trump sign it?

Can't wait until that base is small enough to fit in a rocket so we can fire it off into the sun.

Could someone explain the argument that DACA is unconstitutional? From what I can gather from the Twitter cesspool the only reasoning is that it's an executive order signed by Obama.

Well, just take a look at it from, say, the ecological perspective. The poor are suffering more, both here and abroad in formerly colonial territories. Or more locally, another example might be the opioid epidemic.

  16. What's the argument against these numbers, which would suggest if we zoom out the human race has improved life dramatically in the last 200 years?

I think essentially they argue that Obama was overreaching his powers because he is basically telling agencies not to enforce the law and something like this needs to be done from congress.

I'd like to think the GOP has to be pissed about this one - throwing this one on them (on top of everything else) - and they can either let it go after 6 months and have a bunch of high profile deportations on their hands or do something to keep DACA and then have the toddler-in-chief throw a twitter tantrum.
