I mean I know it isn't the same as the Coast Guard rescuing people - but even that "going into winds even the media wouldn't" is so laughable, considering 99% of the weather channels coverage is reporters trying to stand up and talk in hurricane force winds.

 

My mom told me a story the other day of a car that followed her for 20+ miles, riding her ass, running stop signs and stop lights to stay with her and finally pulled up next to her when she parked in a busy parking lot to say he hoped he didn't scare her but he liked to "give his car a workout to see what it had" when he saw a sports car (she was driving their Spider something or other) and that's why he was following her like a fucking lunatic. No idea how often he does what he did here, but how he hasn't been shot or brutally attacked by someone when people will pull a gun over fucking notebooks I will never know.
