He basically just claimed he was going to pardon Arpaio.

 

All this affirms is that he is still able to create his own reality and still get a good portion of the country to buy into it. Going to come in handy when he loses in 2020, declares fake news on the results and refuses to concede -that's if he doesn't use his voter fraud investigation to indefinitely delay the election in the first place. Majority of Republicans already say they'd support it.
