He's right. After these types of events (thinking back to the SC church shooting) we see a mass removal of these Confederate icons (which is great) but we never confront what drives a two young men to join these groups and act out violently. Awesome, we took the Confederate flag down - but we did nothing about gun control or to stop the hate groups.

If all we do is tear down these statues, its no different than deleting all the photos of an ex after a bad breakup. Sure the photos go away, but if you learn nothing from the experience you are just going to be back deleting photos in a few months / years.

 

Not going to happen, they will not stop supporting him. they will continue to "object" to him and things he says but they will do nothing to get rid of him.

 

There is a small chance but only if:

1. They fail on tax reform because of him

2. Polling starts to show really unfavorable results for the house and senate at mid-terms

3. Pee pee tape

I don't know if kasich would run against pence but I have a suspicion that the GOP isn't sold on pence like people once thought so it might be a melee

This is all under the assumption of one article and some hope and positivity tho

 

has a VP ever run against their own president? He would probably leave the admin in order to run right? like I just don't see how he could primary trump while also being VP under Trump, then hypothetically if Trump were to win the primary there's almost no way he'd keep pence on the ticket.

new plan: get Pence to leave admin to run for pres, Trick trump into getting an actual decent VP, Trump is removed from office and we get lame duck pres until 2020

then hopefully the dems run somebody worth active support not just tentative voting.

 

I dislike what the guy has done too, but that is embarrassing.
