I saw like 5 people wearing red hats today and I was thinking "I want you to get ran over by a car as you cross the street." But then I realized they weren't the Trump hats.

I think we've come full circle. I remember getting push back for calling Trump voters racists, the economic anxiety jokes.

 

Eh. I think most of us were saying that the reality is more nuanced, e.g., economic anxiety, given our social structure and the absence of an alternative, take the form of reactionary ideas.

I can't even....These people are in the middle of no where and are afraid of an attack from refugees even though none of the "Terrorist attacks" over the last few years have come from refugees.

Torn between another attack from an American citizen making these people realize a Muslim ban didn't stop shit, or making them double down on it like it's going to work.
