Love the idea that in a desire to hate Democrats and confirm a bias people are ready to believe Marco Rubio. Come on.

There is certainly moralizing by my own senator over filibustering or refusing to confirm the SCOTUS nominee, at the very least, which lends some credence to the idea that that attitude pervades other spheres (though I understand the fundamental difference b/w a SCOTUS confirmation and anything else). As for Rubio's tweet, it is not so much a matter of believing Rubio but understanding that regardless of whether he has actually been told that, the forces he describes have undeniably been acting on Democrats and they have not responded as well as one might've hoped.

 

I just want their feet held to the fire.

That or I like picturing the Dems rocking back and forth in a fetal position repeating, "I'm not useless. I'm not useless. I'm not useless. I'm not useless. I'm not useless."

I said that I could name, plenty others have already said they're a no vote, and that doesn't mean the others not mentioned (including Bernie Sanders) are a yes.

Then call your senator and don't make sweeping factually false statements. Lots of very good things happening out there with many democrats and many others being pushed just like we need.

I think it was the moralistic statements made by democrats about obstruction, including someone concerned about "radicalization" of the base. lol. It isn't bed-wetting, it's just watching a party not tap into the anger and polarize themselves in the way that the sole effective, and functioning, political part in America did.

 

If that's the bar you're using for what Democrats are doing, and can do, then you're clueless.

I did call my Senators (both of which voted no) . Why would I trust Rubio for any reason?
