The White House Press secretary isn't a representative of the White House but a dude who has something retweeted a few thousand times is a representative of all of the media.

Also, someone make sure I heard this correctly cause it sounded an awful lot like she just said everything being protested yesterday was Obama's fault.

And it made me super uncomfortable at how many times she said "we allowed the media..."

So many positive posts in my feed today about yesterday's march, but I keep seeing conservatives rallying around the same defense in the comments. They're all pivoting to environmental rights by pointing out the thousands of signs left at Trump's hotel and calling it littering and bad for global warming (which was something I thought they didn't believe in, but eh). Literally floundering for anything. Anyone else seeing this?

 

The good news is, conservative haters who are annoyed that people exercise democracy will not exercise it themselves but instead criticize from a distance with looks of confusion and dismay.

 

I only use Twitter but of course they will do that. I'm expecting it and not surprised.

Is it illegal to call someone a liar? I was with family yesterday and they had CNN on in the background and they were talking about Trump while saying phrases such as "not the truth", "opposite of facts" and stuff like that but never once said "lie" or "liar"
