I just fear that if we were to pull out of the Paris Agreement other countries might follow through and do the same. Obviously we should be reduce By our emissions more than the agreement says but it still very important, symbolic as you called it. I just can't wrap my head around how someone could be so blind on this issue and think climate change is a hoax, coal is somehow coming back, and doesn't see that clean energy is where the jobs are at and will soon be cheaper than fossil fuels. Scary times.

Would love a breakdown of this disparity. Would imagine a significant part of it is real estate/home ownership.

I think a lot of people have a concern that the Democratic Party establishment has no interest in learning lessons from this election. Tom Perez repeating a Clinton primary campaign talking point (ostensibly directed at Keith Ellison, since he's basically seen as the consensus progressive pick) makes this feel again like a Bernie-Hillary proxy war. That's not a bad thing in and of itself, but I'd say it highlights an inclination by DLC-styled Dems to punch the left.

At least from what I've been reading over the past 2 months, major emitters like China, Canada, The EU, are still planning on implementing their climate policies even with the US election. Now, even their policies are lacking as well based on their historic and present contribution to climate change - with all the INDCs to the Paris Agreement in, we're still poised for a 3 degeee Celsius by 2100, and that's only if every country does what they'll say, which of course won't happen.

Climate Action Tracker has a preliminary breakdown of how inadequate many country's INDCs are outside the US

One of my biggest headaches of the campaign was arguing with my elderly relatives, who constantly share things like "Tell Congress to pay back the money they stole from SS!" and "SS is security for the elderly/disabled who paid into it their entire lives, it is NOT an entitlement!", about the damaging effects Trump and his party plan to enact on their SS benefits. It was like they've built this brick wall (lol) inside their heads that makes them incapable of seeing the correlation between saving SS and not electing Trump. It sucks, but it's going to be the biggest "I told you so" of the millennials to the boomers. While we still have time to build savings and invest more in 401k before our retirement, they're just f-ed.

I didn't miss the point that white people have historically favorable laws and protections that have enabled them to have homes.

There's a lot of factors that go into a graph like that and I was hoping to learn more about them.

Didn't realize he wrote your biography:

"G.", is a Don Juan or Casanova-like lover of women who gradually comes to political consciousness after misadventures across the continent.
