Huge thumbs down. They broke multiple immigrants houses and livelihood last night. I do not support that at all. And I watched the very white rioters with my own eyes do it.

 

I think, in the absence of organized labor, riots will be more and more legitimized as a means of political discourse. That said, it is not respectability politics to say that the point isn't to punish working-class people, particularly of color. We need to defend their interests and their beings.

One of the things I'd like to see is,championship sports teams wholly reject meeting with the Trump. I'm not sure who feasible this is, especially given how Reactionary the owners are, but it would be a great statement.

I'm going to stand and protect the poc and immigrants in my community and town no matter who comes at them. If it's the white nationalists or Trumpits or whatever -- I'm standing up for them first and foremost. Throw a rock through my window if you want, but if you go for theirs I'm having none of it right now.

Obviously, I don't disagree with this. Obviously, I condemn the destruction of poor or immigrant people's homes. I'm sharing other perspectives from other people who were in the same space you were who I have no reason not to believe any more than you, who I know do good work in those spaces. They seem to have not seen the same things you have or to be aware of it. That's fine. I'm just sharing it.
