Got into a huuge fight with a friend who was big with occupy wall street because i buy coffee at dunkin donuts instead of the local coffee shop. what pissed me off is when I explained that the guy at DD is an immigrant from bangladesh, my homeland, and my dad put food on our table by working there, he still wouldn't let up that there can be small scale benefits of big business. last I checked a lot of these small businesses aren't good about hiring off the boat or undocumented immigrants. so ya, fuck your local coffee shop that panders to the gentry.

Every day I wake up now this is the first thing I think about. I feel sick and depressed. even worse that I can't really talk to my parents about it. My mum made the loco sign when the protests were covered. I said "no you".

Really dude? Ben is one of the most articulate people in this thread and just TODAY he's posted two pieces of literature backing up his views. We need to listen and hear each other right now more than ever and you flat out aren't doing it. Be better, whether you agree with him or not.

there's a free music festival a block from my house tomorrow with the mountain goats. really don't know if i am gonna go. have a feeling it's gonna get ugly. but, that kinda makes me want to go more to fight it
