  1. Going to be unpopular to say: but you know what would have been a good strategy for Stein? Make a deal to endorse. Ask for something, election changes that lead to open debates or other key policy influence. Pick something and hold it and say you'll specifically endorse and send your voters to vote Hillary. You're never winning anyway, but you could have gotten something and it woulda helped. A lot. Then you don't run next time and let a real Green candidate run. But after spending time studying her ... I really do think it's about her, not about the cause to begin with.

I'm not saying she's why anyone lost and I don't blame her at all ... I'm just saying that woulda been a strategy I woulda looked at.

soon enough i'm going to have to let the past go and look forward, but like, could liberalism have defeated fascism if the left had turned out for Clinton? a whole lot less people had to move right than had to move left.

  13. I mean, is the assumption that Trump losing in the general is defeating fascism?

In somewhat good news, I went to Target today and was happy to see California is finally charging a fee on plastic bags and giving you 5 cents back if you use your own. Hopefully this will help the environment at least a little bit. :)

  17. It sends a message at least. Today I'd gladly take that. I'd rather spend my next four years fighting Hillary and the DNC than what I'll have to do instead.

  18. That is cool, it does help! We banned them in the city. Haha. Just flat out banned um.

The only chance we have is
Delaying and restricting the ultimate power at least I guess

At this point, can we really do anything but hope things aren't as bad as they seem? Like, at this point I genuinely hope Trump turns out to be the best president ever (though I know there's next no chance of that happening). But, is there anything we can do to help society for the next 4 years?

  21. I agree. If we're talking about the ideology of liberalism defeating the ideology of fascism though, it doesn't mean as much. They'll always come back

It will always come back. Don't think you could defeat it forever. Like roaches. You kill the ones you see. You know there are more sometimes you don't see them for awhile.

On a related note and some good news, Proposition 67 passed, so plastic bags are now banned in all of California.

Seriously before we start just accepting and preparing for the future can't we just try to persuade some electors to protect us?

I don't see it happening but we have to try. It's the only thing left that could save this time line
