Burnside is loud. I can hear it.

 

Legit haven't felt this genuinely bad in years.

 

Portland and Oakland are getting really ugly. I hate to sensationalize even more during a time like this, but I can't help but feel we could be witnessing the start of a civil uprising or civil conflict to some degree. I'm holding back any use of the term "civil war", but this is straight out of the movies.

I can't wait to see Sanders and Warren be a thorn in Trump's side at every possible moment.

 

Its like a bad, bad dream. I don't even know what to say. The Dems better roll out someone really progressive in four years.

 

Protests spreading rapidly in Portland and LA.

 

This says a lot about the country we live in and the people inside it. We aren't making progress. This is a very sad day.

 

So this is what I wake up to? Something I thought was a joke is now our reality?

 

Can't wait for the State of the Union, Coorespondence Dinners, Inauguration...

But really, at least I may finally get a raise of more than the norm of 1% Obama's given me over the last 8 years. And job security too, I'm sure I'll be deployed to Russia in no time.

 

I wonder what Obama does differently over the two next months with Trump incoming versus Clinton.

 

I was hoping I'd wake up and it'd all have been a bad dream. Seriously, aside from actually being racist too, how does anyone look at themselves voting for the man ENDORSED BY THE KKK?

 

this doesn't speak to the Dems that didn't turnout, the voters that switched from Obama to Trump, and of course there are other factors, but I'd suggest that he appealed to millions for precisely the same reason he appeals to the KKK.

I feel so empty today. Legitimately hollow inside and I'm afraid it won't go away.

 

My friend texts me "they're rioting everywhere, I hope they continue" followed by "I'm transferring to a branch in Ireland" like yea, I wish I had a big bank job that would do that too ugh

 

all three branches lost, a know-nothing president-elect who ran on a promise to repeal progressive reform. what an awful morning.
