My company is shady. They automatically take our money for 401k during a certain time in your employment and you have to call benefits to have it stopped. Also because I have two different job titles, they pay you different wages and a family member from a patient told me that's illegal to do that and if you get a raise it doesn't matter if you don't work that section all the time they need to pay you the higher amount.

 

I'm certainly not an expert, but Im pretty sure that's not true. I used to manage an employee in my department who picked up extra time as a receptionist. Both jobs fell under two separate cost centers at different rates. You may want to contact your HR dept.

 

I'm trying to get on the board of directors for our company. would give me a lot more security and peace of mind. no one's trying to screw me over, but still. Plus I could put that on my resume which would be big. I've already secured us an investment and if we get more after launch I'll be asking the CEO for an official CTO position. Would be a big step for me. Career is moving way faster than I could have anticipated.

 

I'm also teaming up with my brother for a new company that we'll be going halves on. He has practically unlimited funding so that will be big. He has a great idea too. Very excited.

It still amazes me how far the Fast and Furious franchise went from a street racing franchise to what it is now.

 

I made that status as a joke for something I posted in the A1 thread. I don't even remember what it was about.

 

I updated my status accordingly no worries.

 

There's probably some loophole to be allowed to do that. I work for a large company that's very money hungry. They so some pretty shady things. They've underpaid workers before having them do certain jobs without giving them that higher pay. They also do things to avoid giving you benefits, which is illegal and most of us are full time workers. Makes me wonder what else they have up their sleeves.

 

Just noticed Matisyahu went viral a few months ago. That was really cool. He needs to keep making proper songs.

I need someone smart to teach a sis about credit cards. I feel like I need to start building credit. My credit is meh. Not cause of unpaid stuff but just lack of credit history. I feel like people are super smart about navigating cards and rewards and all this stuff but nobody ever really taught me anything about credit cards and I have no clue where to start. I'm pretty financially responsible so I'm not worried about spending money I don't have, but more like idek what cards are good or worth it???? espesh when ur credit isn't super strong.
