I don't know anything about EDM but most of what I've heard when I would find myself in "club" type places (never like a legit club) made me feel almost nauseous

I'm sure the volume could be part of it. I hate loud environments

 

same, volume is a big part of it, I hate when restaurants or stores blare music and I can't hear myself think, I'm really sound sensitive

 

I've been to a festival and the freaking strobe lights were almost blinding.

 

EDM is a really broad genre. Daft Punk and Madeon are EDM as well.

 

Is Bassnectar edm? I like him.

 

I saw my nephew today and he randomly started singing the Weeds theme song except he sang it "little boxes at the food store. Little boxes ticky tacky." And it was so cute I'm dying!

 

I shaved my beard right now so I fully expect my co-workers to go crazy about it for no reason at all later today.

 

I've kept my beard for like 10 years, partially because I don't want to hear everyone's stupid reaction if I was to shave. But I think I look better with it than without it and I don't want to have to shave every day or two, so...

 

yeah whenever i tell someone i like edm i always have to follow up with a convoluted explanation of what i mean by that

 

I feel like the only one with no desire to grow a beard, being clean shaven is one of the things I'm OCD about

 

I think I look better with a beard also and usually I just clean it up with a trim.

however with hockey playoffs starting in two weeks, I have to do the playoff tradition and shave the beard.

 

I hate shaving. Typically I know when to shave when my wife comments on it.

Typically it's because she won't kiss me and/or my mustache is over my lip and I can actually feel it in my mouth

honestly if I ever leave my work, I'll just be happy that I found out about Huey Lewis through my work.

 

I made the best pun at work today.

I was stacking oranges on a table and I saw a co-worker. I called him over and I went "orange you glad to see me?" while I held the orange.

He got so angry but also laughed a lot.

It was great.

 

I was babysitting my little cousin last night and at one point he gave me this super tight hug so I said "aww this is a nice hug" and he just goes "you're squishy" lol

 

I can't tell if he meant this as a compliment or not

 

I chose to take it as a compliment

 

me: my friends are hyping up the IT remake so I'll guess I'll check out the trailer despite not being a horror fan.

also me: ok I'm never sleeping again after seeing that trailer.
