Shitty day?

 

Watching HIMYM reruns. This show can be... pretty damn sexist. More than I remember anyway

 

More just long and tiring than shitty I'd say, I dunno. One of those days where you just beg for it to end because you're sick of it even though nothing bad has happened haha

 

Oh man I rewactched some episodes semi-recently and could not belieeeeeve how I used to love that show.

I guess I still enjoy it (well, maybe the first four and six and seven), but I'm noticing this shit more and more upon rewatches and it sucks

 

I just focus on the story of their friendship. It's what I appreciate it for.

HIMYM comes on at the gym and I move to the machine where the tv is just a stock ticker.

 

My brother and I are possibly heading to Japantown tomorrow for lunch. His idea.

 

Never been to many a Japantown. Mostly Chinatowns and K-Towns... a Lil Manila here and there.

 

I've been watching tv all day and watching shows makes me sad sometimes cause everyone is always so tight knit and drops things to help each other and I don't have many ppl like that in my life and I'm like looooonely I am so looooonely lmao

Way back in the 70s and 80s, my relatives here in San Francisco used to live in Chinatown before moving out to the Outer Sunset neighborhood. Japantown is pretty nice, although super small and not that much to do in the off season.

 

I broke down sobbing in the car today with my aunt as we were getting lunch. She's always been concerned about my path in life and it just feels like I'm a big failure. I'm been watching travel and food shows to take my mind off things.

 

Nothing like family to make ppl feel badly about their lives. Everyone is fumbling their way thru life and I bet you're acing it more than most of us lol!

 

We're all doing better than we expected, right?

 

Goddamn, the fourth season of The Simpsons is so good. Sssssooooo gggggooooodddddd.

I just spent like half an hour trying to reason with two people I've known for like 5 years who apparently think Trump is better than Clinton now that Sanders is out of the race and they keep playing the "not all Trump supporters are racists" and "gotta hear both sides" arguments in between regurgitating Reddit conspiracies about Benghazi and I think I'm going to die of a headache lmao

 

When I was a kid my parents told me that you're not supposed to share who you're voting for with anyone and I wonder what happened to that (although I have shared as well, not trying to be some "holier than thou" person it's just an observation)

 

I'm not a big fan of Hillary by any stretch, but when it comes down to her or Donald Trump, I'm going with Hillary. I'd rather have a "lying asshole bitch" (real descriptions people have told me about her) who at least knows her way around dealing with others than....that fuckhead.
