I told my mom I couldn't visit her this weekend cause we were having a bbq for my stepmom's bday only I guess we're not??? My stepmom mentioned it vaguely last week but I haven't been invited to one or given details about one and I'm not the type of person to invite myself to things. So I guess I'm a liar. Hoping my mom doesn't ask my dad how the bbq was when she sees him tomorrow cause she'll prob think I lied on purpose oops

Drinking Sierra Nevada Summerfest. My stepdad is bbqing some delicious chicken for my fiancé, and I. Probably gonna watch something good later. Good stuff.

 

Also Doom was excellent.

 

I have a shit ton of metal in my knee so I have a surgeons card that I have to show when I go through a metal detector. This one particular security guard at work makes me step to the side to be wanded everytime even after I show him the card. I've been bitching about it for a while and they're now giving me some special badge that will get me through security faster. #smallwins
